When I read your words strung together in a faint semblance flirting with coherent thought, I actually smiled, because lights going on and off evoked the sound of a thumping baseline and good things like that, and I decided you were writing about a rave. Raves are a positive things.
However, I don't know if you are a minor or not, or are showing this to minors, so I have to adjust the grade. C+/-

That's right. A positive things. It is not a grammatical error when you did it on purpose. Put THAT in your pipe and SMOKE IT.
